I’ve done a couple of jobs for AMWAY over the last year or so, but this would be my first time shooting their Year End Function.  I also got to work with Karen from Dolphin Tours – Destination Management Company, who coordinated the evening very well.

The event was held at The Grand Westin Hotel. Across the road from AMWAY’s offices and the V&A Waterfront.

The brief was pretty simple; portrait pictures of each couple when they arrived and on-site printing (the prints would go with the frames that each guest would receive as a gift). So I took along my Canon iP4500 printer, MacBook Pro and my Hensel Studio lighting gear.

I decided to ditched the “boring” white back-drop and pulled the chocolate muslin back-drop…and threw in some red-gelled lighting for good measure
