Trash The Dress on Top Billing
April 9th, 2009 | Published in For Photographers, News | 2 Comments
Last night Top Billing, the South African lifestyle TV show, broadcast an insert on Trash The Dress. Our friend, Jean Pierre Uys was the photographer featured and he delivered the message excellently. The insert showed how fun and creative the experience is.
Literally minutes after the insert was broadcast, our site receive numerous hits for “Trash The Dress”. I’m even more thrilled that we’ve booked a number of Trash The Dress sessions for the following months.
This kind of reaction is very encouraging, and it shows that South Africans are breaking out of the “boring” mold and catching up with the rest of the World.

Hi Mitch, I am glad you got work from the insert! That was my goal. No photographer has thanked me yet thought, it is like everyone assumes they asked me, but if it wasn’t for me the insert would never have happend. I pitched very hard to get it on. They just filmed, but I had to arrange everything. One photographer even used this clip without even mentioning me in his post!
Keep up the good work!

Thank you Jean-Pierre for your open and honest comment. You’ve raised an excellent point!
I think we take for granted the hard work and effort that went on behind the scenes. If I haven’t directly/indirectly thanked you, I’d like to take this opportunity to do that now…THANK YOU! It’s your consistent hard work and effort that makes you a success and leader in the industry.
Your generosity and efforts will be repaid 10-fold.
God bless,
Mitch
