Question :What’s white, worn once and lives in a wardrobe?
Answer: Your wedding dress!
The concept of Trash The Dress has been around for a year or two and mainly been a trend in the UK and USA, but has had very little interest here in South Africa {I have a feeling that is about to change 
}.
The concept is simple:
- Admit that your dress will never be worn again and is taking up valuable shoe space in the wardrobe.
- Book a Trash The Dress session with your photographer {preferably us
} - Be prepared for the most outrageous fun you can have with a wedding dress!!!!!
I recently had the privilege to hangout with Du Wayne Denton and Christine Meintjies to shoot Santel’s TTD session. Santel contacted me a couple of months ago to enquire about TTD…she was getting married in Cape Town and wanted to get some extra mileage out of her dress before heading back to the UK.
I want to say a BIG “THANK YOU” to Santel and (her husband) Dan: You guys are just too beautiful and awesome for words…Santel, you’re a real trooper (She was eager to try anything…just how we like ‘em) . You are both ROCKSTARS in my books!

What can I say… well done! Love the shots on under the bridge. Your beach shots came out a lot better than mine. But hey you pulled off beautiful images in a hectic windy enviroment!
