Wedding : Debbie & Greg : Backsburg, Franschhoek

Debbie and Greg arrived back from the UK for their wedding. This would be my first Greek wedding and I was very excited to experience the traditions of the wonderful Greek people.
The ceremony was held at the St Georges Greek Orthodox Church in Woodstock. Its a grand church that has amazing features, that are characteristic of Greek Orthodox churches, which is amazing to see up close. The ceremony itself was very special and has a similar line to the Catholic church ceremony. It’s opportunities like these that I love about this job.
After the ceremony, we headed to Backberg Estate, in Franschhoek, for the reception. What a great venue!
Thank you Debbie and Greg for inviting me to share in your wonderful day. I trust the surprise honeymoon was brilliant ![]()
Thanks to Lisa (Debbie’s sister) for being such a great organiser. You did a great job!
