Let me start off by admitting that I can’t think of the perfect way to describe Elvira and Ashley. Mainly because words would not do them any justice!  Elvira and Ashley touch people’s souls.  They are pure joy!

Ashley contacted me a couple of months ago from Perth, Australia (where he and Elvira now live) to book us for their wedding.  Ashley was referred to us by Kristen & Randolph, his best mate since chilhood and the obvious choice as Ashley’s Bestman.  ** If you recall how awesome Kristen & Randolph are, then you’d be safe assume the same about Elvira and Ashley. **

The day started with a big bang, for Elvira and Ashley, when Randolph called up the couple to tell them that Kristen had gone in to labor (that was at around 8am).  As you can imagine, Ashley was a little dissapointed but really happy for Randolph and Kristen!

I met up with Elvira at Le Franschhoek Hotel and Spa, where she was getting ready.  Her hair and make-up was done by the ever-so-cool Tanya Engelbrecht.  Elvira’s gorgeous dress was crafted by her BBF and Maid of Honor, Eleanor.  Flowers and decor by Dojema Theron. Event coordination by Timeless Weddings.

The ceremony was held at Haute Cabriere, wine farm and cellar.  The cellar was where the ceremony would be taking place…very nifty hey?!?
When I arrived at Haute Cabriere, I was surprised to to see Randolph all dressed up to re-take his place as Bestman.  I congratulated Randolph and was told that Kristen had given birth to a beautiful baby girl, Chloe earlier that morning (around 10am).
