Wedding : Joy + Edwin : Ongegund

The 7 February must had been the hottest day Cape Town ever experienced…it was a stunker at 38degC!
I headed over to Edwin’s parent’s place in Mitchell’s Plain to get his preparation pictures, and had the please of meeting his cute little nephew and his 98 year old grannie…amazing!
I was then joined by my assistant, Bernard at the ceremony and reception venue which was at Ongegund in Sir Lowry’s, just outside of Somerset West. Joy and Edwin had a cosy wedding and was attended by some of the most jovial people I’ve had the pleasure to have met.
Because of the extreme heat, we decided to postpone their bridal shoot to later in the evening when it would be much cooler and comfortable…as luck would have it, it rained! Can you believe it! So we improvised and will be rescheduling that part of the shoot for now.
